A Little Bit
The Corner Farmacy aims to unite the community with the local resources at our fingertips; contributing to our economy while making fresh, sustainable food and drink accessible and convenient. Collaborating with local producers, artisans, and small businesses we deliver cold pressed juices and an eclectic mix of farm fresh fare to the people of Chicago.
It is our firm belief that we are able to live our lives and function to the fullest when consuming a balanced, nutrient rich diet; time is of the essence and we should maintain our minds & bodies to the best of our abilities.
We offer an ever changing, seasonally rotating menu that hinges on fresh, simple, quality ingredients that shine on their own and are not too overdone or complicated.
Sourcing local when at all possible and presenting a well-rounded menu, good food for everyone is at the core of our mantra, along with good food you can feel good about. Click here to view our sample menu.
Using all organic or local produce, our rotating small batch juices are cold pressed using the finest hydraulic press that allows all the nutrients in the raw fruits and vegetables to be preserved and living through a two part process.
Our Norwalk Juicer first grinds the vegetables into a fine, moist pulp then uses a hydraulic press to extract the juice from the vegetable by using an extreme amount of force. The produce is not subjected to any heat during the process which allows all the healing enzymes in the raw fruits and vegetables to be preserved in the juices. We pack 4+ pounds of produce into each 16 ounce bottle, more vegetables than any of us have time to actually eat.
For us the juice is about balance, the most efficient way to get nutrients and enzymes into our bodies- a way bring rejuvenation to our often hectic lives. Life is short, we should function to our fullest.
